ITINERARY 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS
from Philippi to Corinth.
Day 1: Thessaloniki/ arrival
Day 2: Philippoi- Kavala-Thessaloniki:
Visit Philippi where Paul delivered his first sermon in Europe. Here Paul baptized a "certain woman named Lydia". Above the town's main road is the prison where Paul and Silas were thrown. Continue into the modern port city of Kavala, ancient Neapolis,where Paul accompanied by Silas, Luke and Timothy, first set foot in Europe. Return to Thessaloniki.
Day 3: Thessaloniki- Meteora.
Thessaloniki city tour Paul preached in Thessalonika during the winters of 49-50 AD and wrote two epistles to the ancient Thessalonians. See the ramparts of the city, the triumphal Arch of Galerius staddling the Via Egnatia, once a strategic artery of the Roman Empire. Depart for Meteora Monasteries. Overnight in Kalambaka.
Day 4: Meteora- Delphi
Visit Meteora Monasteries, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Continue to Delphi, and overnight.
Day 5: Delphi - Athens
Visit Delphi, the center of the Ancient world - the "omphalos" (navel) of the earth – whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic world. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit and on the return to Athens, visit Osios Loucas Monastery, one of the most important monument, listed on UNESCO’S World Heritage Sites. Arrive in Athens for overnight.
Day 6: Ancient Corinth- Athens city.
Morning departure to Ancient Corinth. Here under the shadow of the towering Acropolis, Paul preached and lived for two years. The vigorous and mostly Gentile Church he founded here in 50 AD caused him much grief and prompted him to write at least four letters to them. Visit the ruins of the ancient city where Paul worked with Aquila and Priscilla. See the remains of first century shops, the agora where Paul's trial by Gallio took place, the Fountain of Peirene,
Temple of Apollo and the Bema. Depart for Athens, and visit the Acropolis to see the ruins of the Parthenon, Erectheum and Propylae. We shall also ascend Mars Hill,view the Agora (ancient market place where Paul spoke to the ancient Athenians). We will also see the House of Parliament, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Presidential Palace, Hadrian's Arch and the Panathenaic Stadium. Overnight In Athens.
Day 7: Athens/Departure.
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Day 1. Welcome to Athens our Athenian staff will meet you and transfer you to your overnight Deluxe Athens hotel.
Day 2. Athens-Kalambaka. Drive through Beotia region, passes by the towns of Thebes, Levadia and via the picturesque village of Arachova, arrives in Delphi. Visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of astonishing complex of Meteora, gigantic rocks. Overnight. (D)
Day 3. Kalambaka-Thessaloniki Visit Meteora, the ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Depart from Kalambaka, drive through the plain of Thessaly and the valley of Tempi, arrive and visit the Archaeological Park of Dion. Admire Mount Olympos, the highest mountain in Greece and home of the 12 Gods of Mythology. After the visit depart for Thessaloniki,the second largest and the most vibrant city in Greece. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Depart in the morning for the town of Kastoria, renown center of the fur industry and also famous for its Lake and its 75 Byzantine churches. After Kastoria continue driving to the picturesque town of Edessa. Here you can see the town’s famous landmark, the Waterfalls. Then, proceed to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century b.C. villas, in situ as well as in the local Museum. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Thessaloniki See the city that throughout the era of the Byzantine Empire. Visit unique monuments, churches as well as the Museum of Byzantine Culture. Rest of the day free, to enjoy time in the lively center of the city. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6. Thessaloniki-Athens Drive to Vergina, to live the experience of a visit to the unique Museum, created in the Great Tumulus covering the royal tombs of Macedonia. See the astonishing findings from the tomb of King Philip II, Alexander’s father, and feel the thrill of the greatest discovery of the 20th century. After the visit we shall start driving south and through Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae (see the Leonidas’ Monument) and Thebes, arrive in Athens late in the afternoon.Upon arrival transfer to your Athens hotel.
Day 7. Athens-Airport After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Arrive at Cairo airport and transfer to hotel. Meet tour coordinator for welcome briefing.
Day 2: Cairo Tour (B)
After breakfast, begin full day sightseeing tour of Cairo. First visit Giza Plateau, located in the west bank of Nile, facing Cairo. Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus are the three pyramids we will see in this plateau and their guardian Sphinx, the lion body human head mythical statue. Later visit the world famous Egyptian Museum. The museum that houses the largest Egyptian collection with more than 250.000 antiques extending over the past 5000 years. Return to hotel.
Day 3: Cairo – Luxor (B, L, D)
Early morning we will be transferred to Cairo airport for our flight to Luxor. Upon arrival we will be guided to
embark to Nile Cruise ship and have lunch on board. After lunch begin the tour in the enchanted Luxor, considered the greatest open air museum in the world. Cross the river to the eastern bank of Nile to see the temple of Karnak and Luxor. After tour return to the ship for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Luxor – Edfu (B, L, D)
Breakfast on board. In the morning visit the West bank - Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Edfu, have lunch on board and will have free time at leisure. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 5: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan (B ,L, D)
Today visit Edfu Temple, located in the west bank of Nile and dedicated to god Horus, the falcon god. Then sail to Kom-Ombo to visit the temple that was built in Ptolemaic Roman era for the worship of god Haroeris and Sobek, the crocodile god. Sail to Aswan for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Aswan (B, L, D)
After breakfast visit the remarkable Aswan Dam, considered as one of the outstanding architectural achievements of the 20th Century. Then visit the Philae Temple, which was dedicated to goddess Isis. Lunch on board and sail on the Nile by Feluccas for the view of Elephantine island (or Kitchener’s island), view from boat. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7: Aswan – (optional Abu Simbel) – Cairo (B)
After breakfast disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport. Clients who booked optional Abu Simbel tour will take the flight to Abu Simbel to see the magnificent temples of Ramses II and Nefertiti; after you return Aswan you might have free time in Aswan until your flight to Cairo. If you don’t take the optional tour you’ll fly to Cairo in the morning, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and will have free time in the afternoon. Overnight: Cairo
Day 8: Departure (B)
Transfer to Cairo airport for flight back home. Thank you for visiting Egypt!
